had loads of fun. spent friday driving up there, hanging out with mom and dave. we visited the lost sea, which *used* to be the largest known subterranean body of water. i have since been informed that there is a larger one in africa, but that it is only open to scientific types. a few images from our dirty, damp descent:

overall, we had lots of fun. my one complaint, which i'm sure will be deemed ironic after my review of ruby falls, is that the lighting sucked. the tour was ok, but bryan and i were both pretty disappointed that we weren't allowed to wander through at our own leisure.it was dave's first time on a boat, and he was suitably impressed, though pretty anxious, i think. he mentioned the boat sinking once, and falling in the water once. everyone made it out ok, though...
saturday, mom and dave attended a barn-raising, and bryan and i went whitewater rafting. it was great. i included some shots that i took at the ocoee welcome center in the cherokee national forest:

i'm going to post the ruby falls photos next time. kinda tired of fooling with it right now, actually...expect the rest later this week!
